Successful completion of the D365 project
With the successful implementation of our new ERP system Microsoft Dynamics (D365), across all plants, we have reached a significant milestone in PLASTON’s digital transformation. After intensive testing and training phases, our site in China is now fully integrated into the system.
Major step for our future
The D365 project was a company-wide initiative aimed at harmonizing processes across all locations, increasing transparency, and strengthening collaboration between our plants in Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and China. The final major step was completed in November 2024 with the successful transition of our Jiaxing plant.
Throughout the project, from the kickoff in February to the go-live in November, several intensive test and training weeks took place in China. Colleagues from Widnau conducted on-site training, made configurations, and tested the final optimizations. Thanks to the close collaboration of our teams over several months, the transition was implemented smoothly.
Shared success
The implementation of D365 was not just a technical challenge but above all a team effort made possible by the dedication and commitment of many employees – both on-site and remotely. With the shared goal of making PLASTON’s processes even more efficient, we have achieved a significant milestone together.
Through the complete integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 with our BI reporting tool Power BI across all plants, we are setting new standards for internal transparency, efficiency, and international collaboration.
